Attorney Durbin attended the University of Akron, where she received her B.S. degree, summa cum laude, and her J.D. degree. While attending the University of Akron School of Law, Deanna was the Articles Editor for the Akron Law Review. She also participated in the Legal Clinic and served as an intern with the U.S. Court of Appeals Sixth Circuit. Formerly, Deanna worked in Information Technology involving health care systems. She is a member of the Akron Bar, the Ohio State Bar, the American Bar Associations, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and its Ohio Chapter, and the Ohio Chapter of Wealth Counsel.

Attorney Durbin is the co-author of the book Ohio Elder Law, part of Baldwin's Ohio Handbook Series published by West.
