I have been an advocate for people as a registered nurse for over 30 years. Now I am applying my passion to help others to the legal needs of the elderly and disabled as an Elder Law and Estate Planning attorney.

Because of my experience as a nurse and working in health insurance, I am able to assist clients in a variety of ways with their health care needs. I can assist them when choosing the proper type of care for their loved ones. I can assist them with problems they may encounter with the health care system such as payment issues and communication issues.

I am very familiar with the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs that people and their families face when their loved one has acute or chronic health care needs. My brothers and I were faced with the decision about whether to continue with life support for my mother when she suffered a massive stroke at her young age of 63.

I am committed to doing my part to restore the public trust in the legal profession. I like to think of myself as an attorney with a heart. I combine the warmth, compassion, and integrity of my nursing profession with the strength, critical thinking, and tenaciousness of the legal profession.

I have been a Registered Nurse for more than 30 years and have had a variety of experiences including clinical nursing, management, quality improvement, and various responsibilities for a health insurance organization. I have developed, organized and presented educational classes to lay persons, student nurses, nurses, and other personnel about various topics including hemodialysis, Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD), care of the patient on hemodialysis and CAPD, HIPAA, and prompt pay law.
